As the June 19 Money in the Bank event approaches, observers are already talking about Styles possibly winning the event which would drag the rivalry further with Cena possibly nabbing the Summer Slam title. Both wrestlers are the best of their game in the respective worlds making Cen-Styles match a historic one.
In an effort to attract a sizeable chunk of viewers on a Tuesday night programming, WWE is positioning an immensely popular John Cena to headline its SmackDown which has long been considered as a secondary programming. Roman Reigns, on the other hand, is widely expected to lead Raw.
WWE Money in the Bank 2016 is fast approaching with six out of the seven names being confirmed for the brutal ladder match. Roman Reigns is favored to knock Seth Rollins out in the World Heavyweight ladder match and AJ Styles may still beat crowd favorite and returnee John Cena following the latter’s downbeat at Monday Night Raw at the hands of the former with some help from ‘The Club’ party crashers.
Last Monday Night Raw was supposedly intended to welcome John Cena back to WWE after his months-long absence. The 15-time world champion did receive a ‘warm welcome’ after a traitorously blindsided by AJ Styles as his fellow Club members, Gallows and Anderson, viciously beat him down to the canvass.
WWE megastar and 15-time Heavyweight champion John Cena has been asked to host the 2016 EPSYS award show on July 13 for which gladly accepted. He will be the third athlete to host the show following Tour de France champ Lance Armstrong and Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James.
WWE NXT star Shinsuke Nakamura gears up for a middle-card showdown with Bray Wyatt in July when the pro wrestling promotion heads out to Tokyo for their two-day Japan tour. The Japanese wrestler is also bound to face John Cena at a June 29th WWE live event in Honolulu, Hawaii.
A number of WWE stars have recently spoken about ECW legend Sabu’s legacy to pro wrestling in a recently published article by WWE. Sabu was largely known of his daredevil antics as well as crazy stunts and was credited for introducing extreme form of pro wrestling.
After going under the knife for her neck injury, WWE Divas’ Champion is set for ring comeback at Monday RAW. In a teasing appearance at ‘The Today Show’, Bella’s boyfriend, 15-time WWE Heavyweight Champion John Cena also hinted to re-appear with her after being sidelined since January for his shoulder surgery.
