WWE Raw News And Rumors: Nikki Bella Making A Comeback In The Ring
Rumored insider reports indicate that Nikki Bella is set to return to the ring on Monday's RAW at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Although details have not been released yet, there are speculations that the storyline somewhat involves a quarrelsome affair with her sister Lana.
Currently, the female wrestler holds the record as the longest-reigning WWE Divas' Champion since fall last year. However, she was absent from the action scene following her neck injury. The champion initially thought that rest and rehabilitation would suffice but then she was advised to undergo a surgery to ensure her path toward recovery after sustaining injuries from her frequent use of 'Rack Attack' finishing move on ring opponents.
According to an update by What Culture, Bella announced to her Instagram followers that she will only be wearing her brace part time and that she's expected to fully recover in three and a half months.
Amid Bella's purported ring comeback, boyfriend and 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena is also teasing a possible return after appearing on 'The Today Show'.
"Thank you @TODAYshow for giving me a 'hall pass' on physical therapy. I'm in New York, so is #RawBrooklyn @WWE hmmmmm #WrestleMania32," a teasing Cena tweeted fueling speculations of his return as quoted by Sports World News.
Like his girlfriend, John Cena disappeared briefly from the wrestling scene since going under the knife last January for his shoulder injury. Although he's known for his healing prowess, observers think that won't be ready for a full-blown comeback in six days.
Meanwhile from Cageside Seats' latest rumor roundups, the Undertaker has been seen preparing for his Wrestlemania 32 match with Shane McMahon as he intensely works out at the Performance Center. Like Bella, Brie is also expected to appear at Monday RAW after being sidelined for quite some time. Lastly, WWE mulls on running three pre-show matches on Wrestlemania 32.
