Having fallen out of LA Lakers’ initial interest, the next prospective destination is Boston Celtics with their overall No.3 pick.
Now that the NBA draft is just around the corner, there is a general expectation among NBA analysts that the 18-year-old Croatian-born Dragan Bender would end up getting drafted by Boston Celtics with their No. 3 overall pick. Already, some pundits are already comparing Bender as the next Kristaps Porzingis.
In a coin flip tiebreaker last Friday, Celtics won 5 of the top 35 picks and another 5 second round picks starting from No. 31. Meanwhile, Celtics’ hope of acquiring Jimmy Butler to their fold fell dead when Chicago Bulls demanded Jae Crowder in return.
