A little more than a month away will be NBA's draft lottery and recently the league has conducted tiebreakers by using a coin flip. Tiebreakers are reserved for teams who posted identical records for the 2015-16 regular season.

Following tiebreakers last Friday, schedules for the league's June NBA draft have been finalized. The Boston Celtics were relatively lucky in last Friday's coin flipping as the Irish Green managed to rake in 5 picks in top 35.

As reported by MassLive, Celtics managed to win the draft tiebreaker which gives the team 16th pick via Dallas Mavericks. The team also finished third in another allowing them to secure the 23rd pick. Furthermore, Boston now has the third-best chances to fall on the number one overall draft choice in the league after acquiring Brooklyn's first round pick .

Celtics also possesses 5 second-round picks starting with No. 31 as followed by No. 35, 45, 51 and the 58th overall selection as mentioned by CSNNE.

In the four-way tiebreaker, Celtics, however, lost to Atlanta Hawks (21) and Charlotte Hornets (22) with 23rd pick.

Below are the results of the tiebreaker coin flip as per Real GM:

Team 2016 Record Draft Slot

Sacramento Kings 33-49 8th Lottery Position

Denver Nuggets 33-49 9th Lottery Position

Milwaukee Bucks 33-49 10thLottery Position

Charlotte Hornets 48-34 22nd

In a separate development, the heavily rumored Jimmy Butler trade between Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics fell dead when the Bulls demanded the inclusion of Crowder in the package. Celtics expressed willingness to forego two of their top picks in exchange for Butler but when Chicago started talking about the versatile Crowder, tipped to be Celtics' most improved player, the trade negotiations failed to reach a consensus and eventually got killed.
