'The Winds of Winter' Release Date And Major Spoilers: Book NOT Available Before 'GoT' S7? GRRM Busy With 'Wild Cards?'
"The Winds of Winter" is still in the works and reports have it that the sixth "A Song Of Ice And Fire" book is unlikely to be ready by early 2017. Thus, fans should not expect George RR Martin's "TWOW" before "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
The success of GRRM's first five "ASOIAF" novels and its TV adaptation "Game of Thrones" fuel everyone's desire to get a copy of the anticipated "The Winds of Winter." Unfortunately, after five years and counting the book is still in the works.
In fact, the HBO's hit popular series, "Game of Thrones" is about to air its last season while there are still two pending books for the novel series. It might sound odd that the TV adaptation of the "ASOIAF" novel series is ending while the remaining books that inspired it is still in the works. Unfortunately, this is just the case.
According to International Business Times, fans should not expect "The Winds of Winter" in the first quarter of 2017. While it remains the most wanted book, George RR Martin just hinted that he is still far from finishing the book.
In one of his blog post, the celebrity author announced that he will be limiting his public appearances in 2017 to focus on the long overdue book, "The Winds of Winter." For those following the progress of the book, GRRM initially aimed to release "TWOW" prior to "Game of Thrones" Season 6 but failed to accomplish it.
Some sources speculate that the book might be available before "GoT" Season 7 premieres but it seems unlikely. Many are disappointed with George RR Martin's announcement as it only confirms that the book is still not in the publishing house as what was reported by some sources earlier.
In addition to this, in a separate post on his blog, the scribe announced the debut of the website for "Wild Cards." While some fans are pleased with this project, others are concerned that this is dividing GRRM's focus on "TWOW."
Will George RR Martin be able to deliver "The Winds of Winter" in 2017? Do you agree that the New Mexican author should not only lessen his public appearance but so as his other projects to finish the sixth and seventh book of "A Song of Ice and Fire?"'
