Rumors started circling about Chandler Riggs who is playing the role of Carl Grimes, leaving “The Walking Dead” when his father posted a photo with his son on social media saying in the description Chandler’s 7-year contract is completed and how grateful he is to AMC, cast and the crew for making the show a big deal. But, shortly after that the rumors are put to rest by his mother who said Chandler is smart for thinking about his future, he got accepted to Auburn University, but that doesn’t mean he will leave the show or head to the University.

According to Inquistr, the Instagram teaser suggests the removal of his eye patch. The incident occurred in season 6 when a bullet meant for Rick Grimes wound up in Carl’s eye. There was no real focus on the injury, but it looks like Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) may be curious about it. In season 6 Carl was finally enjoying what could be his last experiences with Enid and possibly Alexandria. Jesus character will be keeping Carl company on a trip that would probably be an anxiety-ridden adventure otherwise. “The Walking Dead” comic book version shows that only Carl hops on one of Negan’s trucks armed and ready.

According to Comic Book, episode 7 titled “Sing Me A Song” indicates the iconic scene from issue #105 which saw Carl forced to sing a song to the book’s new villain. At the end of the new clip, Negan is seen smirking at Carl as he removes his eyepatch.

According to Entertainment, “The Walking Dead” has lost 6.4 million viewers since the opening episode of this season. It averages out to 500,000 new viewers turning off each and every week. These numbers raised questions about the show’s future.

“The Walking Dead” season 7 episode 7 will be aired on December 4, 2016.
