Claire Foy, the actress who plays Queen Elizabeth II in "The Crown", shared with her fans where her inspiration for the role comes from. She admitted that sometimes it had been difficult for her to play the part of Elizabeth as a naïve and green character before becoming the confident Queen of England that she is known for today. Because of this, she had turned to a BBC documentary titled “Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute” and Gogglebox to help her in nailing her part in the show. Foy said she did not receive any contact from the Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth but understands that the queen must be very busy with her royal obligations.
