‘Halo Wars 2’ News And Release Date: An Engaging Plot, New Characters And More

The upcoming game "Halo Wars 2" release date is scheduled on Feb. 21, 2017, and more updates about it is coming out. The new plot of the game, mode, and characters of the game are revealed. The real-time game developed by 343 Industries and Creative Assembly, would be available in single-player and multi-player mode. Halo Wars 2 will be available on both Xbox One and PC; it won't be available on PlayStation.

The single-player version of Halo Wars 2 is reported to have a plot of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) crew are stranded in a strange place after the continues sleep of 28 years from "Halo Wars" and few years after "Halo 5: Guardians" in the 26th century. The plot opens with Professor Anders and Captain James Cutter at Ark and they are unaware of Human-Covenant war conclusion. Now, they are forced to fight with a factional group of Covenants in Halo Wars 2.

Interestingly, Halo Wars 2 would also have new characters while many of the characters from the previous installments will be retained. The characters Anders and Cutter from "Halo Wars" would be appearing in the game with different look considering the requirement of the upcoming installment and to reflect the advancement over the years. The new villain of Halo Wars 2 is Atriox and he is the leader of a cruel and selfish gang called The Banished.

Halo Wars 2 trailer was released a year back when the game announced. Another Halo Wars 2 trailer released in June shows the fierce war between humans and covenants using heavy weapons. Though, Halo Wars 2 release date set in February, the game is available for pre-order from the official website and single digital purchasers will get both Xbox One and PC versions together for the price of one.

Halo Wars 2 is expected to bring another science-fictional universe that always gives curiosity to explore through. The imagination and creativity of the developer are very important in deciding the fate of the game. Since it is going to be released in 2017, it can be expected that it would also have a special version for "Xbox Scorpio", the upcoming console beast.
