'LOGAN 2017', The Wolverine Slowly Losing His Mutant Powers
"Logan", the human name for Wolverine is set in the future as one of the last mutants. The X Men are now a lost pack. Professor Xavier, trying to adapt to the loss of his X Men family, is with the future episode of "Logan."
The villain in this movie is Nathaniel Essex, whose corporation is destroying the world bit by bit. This is "Logan's" third and the last movie to do a solo and the 10th installment of the X Men series.
In "Logan 2017," Wolverine has still his mutant powers of strength and healing abilities. Births of mutants are on a decline too. These mutant characteristic is diminishing and it's not as powerful as it used to be. Even the Professor Xavier is coping with Alzheimer's disease causing his mutant power of mind control floating away resulting in forgetfulness.
"Logan 2017" leans towards Wolverine on having to defeat Nathaniel Essex in this setting. She is aided by a young girl named Laura Kinney, a female version of Wolverine, who is being hunted by evil forces. Logan and Professor Xavier is in the works of protecting the girl. She has two claws from each knuckles compared to wolverine's three, as stated from an article of IMDb.
"Logan 2017" depicts the healing powers of Logan ebbing as shown that his body is littered with scars inflicted through the course of time. In still photos of Logan 2017 trailers, "Logan" looks old and haggard, which shows of his dwindling healing attribute.
In an interview with Independent, Jackman was quoted to have said that this movie is not all jumping and flying and bouncing when they fall. It is all about real action and consequence. "When you hit the floor from a high fall you die", Hugh Jackman added.
