According to the official synopsis for “Jane The Virgin” Season 3 Episode 5, Jane (Gina Rodriguez) persuades Alba (Ivonne Coll) to let her read the letters from her estranged sister. In the condition that Jane does not have to reach out to her family. It was also stated that Rafael starts to find something unusual with Petra (Yael Grobglas). Jane and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) helps Michael and Rafael by trying to make them civil with each other.
Promo trailer shows an awkward gym moment between Michael and Rafael. Michael said he is trying to get back into shape for the physical examination he will go through for his work. After hearing this, Rafael offered him that if he ever wants to go to the gym, he can accompany him. When they were exercising, Michael, who was obviously not a big gym guy, kept on talking while Rafael was dead serious in lifting. Trailer ended with an awkward high five between the two.
