Massive Cardiac Arrest claimed the life of Pete Burns at Age 57
At age 57, the Dead or Alive Star Pete Burn died surprisingly because of a heart attack. Steve Coy, his manager, confirmed this unhappy end for the star. Celebrities all across have extended their sympathy on a different social media site.
In a post on Twitter, Steve Coy made the announcement that the singer died due to a heart attack. It was also said on Mirror that friends and relatives are devastated with his untimely death.
In 2006, Pete Burn joined the Celebrity Big Brother 4. This was the time that he gave a lasting impression for bringing in a gorilla skin coat and for clashing with Jodie Marsh. In Celebrity Big Brother history he was one of the most favored housemates, according to The Sun.
George Galloway, a Politician and was with Burn on Celebrity Big Brother said on BBC News that Pete Burn was a cross between Dorothy Parker and Oscar Wilde. He appeared on Celebrity Wife Swap and The Body Shocking Show which made him an eccentric figure in showbiz.
A month before he died, he made a television appearance on Celebrity Botched Up Bodies. In that show, it appeared that he has gone through several surgeries. He said that he "loved his appearance despite the fact being left like Frankenstein."
Several surgeries he went through is fixing his nose, implanting cheekbones, and numerous work on his lips. But according to Burns, if he was to count the number of surgeries he had to go through was about 300 plus times.
Pete Burn is best remembered as a man dressed as a woman. He married Lynne Corlett for almost 30 years and in 2007 entered into a civil partnership with Michael Simpson. Burns once expressed that he want to live a life to the fullest, and so he did.
