WWE Rumors: The Latest Update On Randy Orton's Return

Physical injuries appeared to have forced many WWE superstars to take temporary long breaks in to recuperate. For quite some time, Randy Orton's absence from the ring also coincided with the absence of other wrestling biggies like John Cena, Seth Rollins, and Cesaro.

It was previously reported that Orton was decimated off the roster following a shoulder injury in September. He then received surgery the next month. Obviously as 'The Viper' continues to recover from his injuries, there have persistent speculations of other health problems that could potentially threaten his professional career for good such as the rumored severe neck problems.

But of course, Orton quashed all those rumors to silence after announcing his inevitable return to in-ring performance sometime around July.

"At the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony three weeks ago, Orton let the world know that he was a good "two to three months" away from returning to in-ring action...If that's the situation, the worst case scenario is that he will be back near the middle or the end of July," Inquisitr reported.

His latest statement regarding his medical condition is fueling constant anticipation among fans strongly obsessed with comebacks. Cesaro's recent return to WWE demonstrates how returning stars offer a sense of freshness and sense of vitality to pro-wrestling entertainment.

"I had a match, October 15th in Chicago. And, I was in the ring with a couple of different guys, and it's unclear to me what happened, but my shoulder got stretched back, and the capsule was stretched and I had a repair 12 years ago that was destroyed. So, I had a little pain, got an MRI and basically I was told that they had to fix my shoulder up again," said Orton as quoted by Sportskeeda.

"I had a different guy do it and had a stabilization surgery done that they do on rugby players who go back to 100% full-time playing rugby, and those guys, they're some tough customers. So, I got really fortunate with the doctor and I think everything's going to be just fine, a couple more months."

Meanwhile, Cageside Seats roundups indicate that WWE is still trying to get hold of Lucha Underground's Ricochet, the independent circuit's famed Prince Puma in a bid to boost WWE's roster following a series of injuries involving a number of its superstars. Unfortunately, Lucha appeared to have offered a juicy deal to keep him from walking away.
