Pokémon GO Release Date Update: Pokestops and Other New Updates Teased
Gameplay leaks from beta tests have so far been the most credible and trustworthy sources of information and a slew of new updates of augmented reality title 'Pokémon Go'.
In a recent leak from a field tester, the forthcoming mobile game title will feature a number of ingress portals turned into Pokestops which act as item portals where gamers can acquire rare items albeit only with enough luck.
The roundup supports an earlier report describing some of the game's features such as its interface details including Pokestops where users can collect Pokeballs and a variety of useful items to catch elusive wild pokemons.
"Players will walk to hatch previously-acquired eggs that might reveal new Pokémon. Eggs and other special items such as Pokeballs can be acquired at Pokestops - located at interesting places such as public art installations, historical markers, museums and monuments," reads the Niantic message as quoted by Express UK.
In another noteworthy update from the BitBag, some testers confirmed that only the original 150 Pokemons are included in the game's current build adding that Onyx and Lickitung will have no evolution shard count. Also, the developers are making sure that fan favorites like Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle are hard to find. So far, there's no official confirmed report from inside sources regarding the title's purported release date although previous updates mentioned that the game is set to be available in Android and Apple iOS mobile devices.
Meanwhile, Pokémon Company and Niantic has recently announced the expansion of Go's beta field testing in Australia and New Zealand after an earlier testing in Japan. As mentioned in an Ecumenical News report, the field test is intended to check the viability of the game prior to official roll-out. The field tests also allow developers to uncover flaws and rectify them.
