Scarlett Johansson Secretly Married Beau Romain Dauriac Two Months Ago
Sources are reporting that Scarlett Johansson is a married woman. According to People.com, the actress, 30, has tied the knot with French journalist, Romain Dauriac, roughly two months ago after they welcomed their first child together.
"Scarlett and Romain were married in a very intimate ceremony after the birth of their daughter. They kept the wedding a big secret because they both wanted privacy," Page Six reported.
The rumors of a union started early last month when Johansson was spotted with a gold ring on her wedding finger. Without any confirmation from either parties, all people could do was speculate until a Granite County clerk from Montana confirmed to People that the couple was married in Philipsburg on Oct. 1.
The newlyweds recently made an appearance on Monday at the Gotham Awards in New York. According to sources, the "Lucy" actress had introduced Dauriac, 32, as her husband and appeared to be "very, very happy." They were both wearing bands on their wedding finger that night.
Johansson and Dauriac have been together since November 2012 and were engaged in August 2013. After a couple months into their engagement, Johansson announced her pregnancy. The couple welcomed daughter Rose Dorothy Dauriac on September 4.
"There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theater. I want to be able to have it all," Johansson once told the WSJ Magazine.
This is Johansson's second marriage. She was previously married to actor, Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.
The actress will be next seen in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," which will hit the theaters on May 1.
