However, now it has been revealed to the viewers that Ben Weston is apparently the Necktie Killer. Robert Scott Wilson plays the role of Ben Weston, who has now been seemingly labeled as the serial killer who was creating havoc in Salem. The actor himself was kept in the dark and not told that he was the salem serial killer, atleast not until after the murders of Serena (Melissa Archer) and Paige (True O'Brien) had happened, reported the Star Pulse.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest after the show, Robert Scott Wilson talked about the shocking twist to his role. He explains "I ran with it because I got what I wanted: a chance to play Ben in a total arc, taking him from one set of character traits to a completely different type of person."
Some suggest such as Ruby's Hub that it could be a hint, an indication that the TV star Robert Scott Wilson might soon be leaving the 'Days of Our Lives' show, presumably sometime around the end of this year or early next.
