Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Date, Price, Specs and Rumors: Revamped, More Secure Tablet Said to Drop in October

Microsoft is all set to launch its new product, Surface Pro, in New York and there is a lot of speculation surrounding its release! Here are some of the rumors surrounding its features.

  • As reported by PC Tablet, Surface Pro will also be made of Magnesium Alloy but will be much lighter and thinner. It will be revealed in two sizes - 12" and 14" models
  • Tech Radar said that even though the processor in the new model will fix the heating issues, it is not certain if the new version will use the latest Core M Line processors.
  • According to Latino Post, there will also be a provision for secure login with Windows Hello which will make the Pro come with finger scanners and a compatible camera. The Surface Pro will come packed with the latest Windows 10 that will allow all your apps to run smoothly on your device.
  • Since the company's acquisition of the N-Trig, an Israel based company responsible for the stylus functionality in the Surface Pro, it will come equipped with the latest Edge browser's handwriting functionality, said Tech Radar.

Surface Pro Release Date 

Unfortunately for all the fans, Microsoft does not have a clear release date of their Surface Pro 4 yet, as per Neurogadget. As per the speculation, the device is all set to be released in October 2015. It is expected that the Surface Pro 4 will be the first device that will come pre-loaded with Windows 10 OS since its launch.

Price

It is expected to be released at the same price as its predecessor, Surface Pro 3 released at, said Neurogadget. This means that when launched, the gadget will be tentatively priced at $800 which will be for the 12" model. You would be required to be $100-150 more for a bigger size.
