Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Helping Producers with Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina’s Biopic?
Nick Gordon might be the key in getting a Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown's biopic produced.
According to a new report, Bobbi Kristina, who died on July 26 at the age of 22, was holding onto the script of the biopic about her mother, who tragically died in 2012. Now that Bobbi Kristina has passed away, producers will reportedly try anything, such as asking Gordon for help, to get the rights to the script.
In the meantime, producers have also allegedly sent Gordon scripts to read about Bobbi Kristina and Houston since Gordon lived with both of them. The family, who just lost Bobbi Kristina, is furious over the fact that people are bothering them when they are going through such a hard time.
"The family is sickened by this. They just want to be left alone to deal with the loss of a very young and valuable member of the family, but at the same time they understand the demand from fans to have their story told from an accurate standpoint," a source told Radar. "The problem is that the family can barely agree on funeral flowers, but there's no doubt this will happen someday since everyone in the families agree the two should be honored and remembered in a special way."
Bobbi Kristina died about six months after she was found unresponsive in her bathtub. She was initially placed medically induced coma to see if she would get better. After weeks of no progress, Bobbi Kristina was moved to hospice care.
Bobbi Kristina's conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed a lawsuit against Gordon in June. The lawsuit alleged that Gordon had stolen money from Bobbi Kristina and abused her. The lawsuit was amended in Aug. 7 to include details of the events leading up to Bobbi Kristina's incident on Jan.31.
Hargrove is now suing Gordon for wrongful death, pain and suffering.
Gordon's lawyers have called the suit "slanderous and meritless."
"Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it's shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly. Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most," Gordon's lawyers, Jose Baez and Joe Habachy, said in their statement.
The lawsuit demands at least $10 million in punitive damages. Hargrove has asked for a jury trial.
