George Clooney Amal Alamuddin Pregnancy News: Couple Visits Fertility Clinic
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are ready to take the next step in their relationship and are planning to have a baby soon.
Ten months after their wedding last year, the 54-year old actor is said to be ready to take up the role of being a daddy, Us Magazine reported.
"They decided that it would be the right time. Amal isn't taking on extra work at the moment and just continuing with the cases she has," a source told the news source.
To increase their chances of their recent baby-making project George and Amal are reportedly seeking the help of a fertility clinic.
"They recently visited a fertility center. This is something they really want," another source said.
"George is ready for this step and he thinks that Amal will be a great mother."
A baby for the Clooneys would be perfect in time for the completion of their their $ 15 million English countryside home that is currently under renovation. The property is a 17th century mansion with a land area of 9,000 square-foot.
"The building plans include a nursery. They hope to have all the work done by Christmas," another source said.
The 54-year old actor used to publicly said that he is not keen in taking the role of a father during his first marriage with Talia Balsam in 1993, Hollywood Take pointed out.
In April this year, the newly-weds also slammed pregnancy rumors and the human right's lawyer's baby bump.
"I mean, I've thought about it, I suppose. But I haven't really-it hasn't been high on my list," the award-winning actor said in May.
George also expressed his plans to travel around the world with his 37-year old wife but never mentioned about plans of having a baby, Design Trend said.
"I'll tell you, there are places I would like to be in the world with Amal that we want to go to that we haven't gone. Our goal now is to be finding time to travel, not because of work, but because we'd like to see those places. But if I could be anywhere now, it would be she and I on a motorcycle in the middle of the French Alps near a town called Barcellonette, which is a Mexican village, and it's unbelievable."
