Kim Kardashian's Rollingstone Cover Slammed By Sinead O'connor; 'Music Has Officially Died’
Kim Kardashian's appearance on the cover of rock music magazine Rollingstone was criticized by iconic musician Sinead O'connor who called the reality TV star, 'cu*t.'
According to Yahoo News, the Irish songstress aired her sentiment on Facebook on Tuesday further saying that Kardashian's face on a magazine is an official announced for the death of music.
"What is this c-t ("I don't smile much because it causes wrinkles") doing on the cover of Rolling Stone? Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame. Bob Dylan must be fucking horrified."
She further urged Rollingstone fans and music supporters to boycott the upcoming issue by passing on the message through social media using the hashtags #BoycottRollingStone and #AGenerationIsBeingGroomedAndSilenced.
The rant is said to have shared 7100 times and liked by more than 26,500 people within seven hours of posting.
The mag cover shows the reality TV star scantily-clad, wearing a red bra underneath a blue-striped dress which exposes a lot of cleavage. Kim completed the outfit with a sailor's cap.
New York Daily News said that Kardashian will be subjected to a substantive interview revealing her thoughts of her journey to being famous, from the sex tape that had circulated years ago to being a reality TV star and Kanye West's wife.
"I'm so much smarter than I'm portrayed," the 34-year old Kardashian said.
Meanwhile, media outlets said that this is not the first time for the Nothing Compares 2 U singer to criticize other celebrities.
In 2013, she heavily criticized Miley Cyrus' naked appearance on Wrecking Ball saying that the pop star is being 'prostituted' by the industry, Newscom.au remembered.
She later posted an edited photo of the 22-year songstress with money on her mouth. She captioned the photo saying, ""Does Anyone Know The Whereabouts Of this Girl's Parents?"
