Sharon Osbourne Taking Hiatus From 'The Talk' After Collapsing At Home

Sharon Osbourne has collapsed 'from mental and physical fatigue' at her home in Los Angeles and will now take a one month break from her CBS show The Talk.

The cause of Sharon's collapse was "exhaustion" following her return from a visit to New York and Toronto last week.

Her doctors are convinced Osbourne, 62, returned to work too soon after undergoing hernia surgery in March and subsequently battling pneumonia, so they have signed her off work for a month.

"Upon her return she collapsed from mental and physical fatigue. Her doctors report that she is suffering from 'extreme exhaustion' and assessed that she most likely returned to work too soon after being hospitalized recently for pneumonia," the representative added.

"Sharon has been advised and has agreed to to take a month hiatus to recover fully from these recent events. Sharon would like to thank everyone at 'The Talk' for granting her this time off and to all friends, family and others for their incredible support."
