Ariana Grande and Big Sean Breakup News: Is the ‘Break Free’ Singer looking to get back with former flame, Nathan Sykes?
Ariana Grande might already be moving on from Big Sean.
According to the latest rumors, the "Break Free" singer's former flame, Nathan Sykes, has plans to win her back. In an interview with Wonder Wall, Sykes, one of the band members of the now dissolved British boy band, The Wanted, revealed that he still keeps in touch with Grande.
After Sykes stated that he is "painfully single...so single it hurts," many are speculating that he wants Grande back in his life.
The 22-year-old singer did not outwardly talk about the possibility of getting back with Grande. He did, however, talk about their breakup. Sykes and Grande had a brief romance that lasted from August to December in 2013.
"It's like, when some things don't work out they don't work out. Long distances and stuff like that. On different schedules and touring in different parts of the world. It's like sometimes it doesn't happen so easily," he said.
Contrary to the common hectic schedule reasoning couples give in Hollywood, HollywoodLife.com reported that Grande was still hung up over her first love, Jai Brooks, when she was in a relationship with Sykes.
"Nathan was a moment in time during heartbreak because she ultimately still loved Jai," a source told the website. "Jai was her first everything and that is a very hard thing to break off from, especially for Ariana."
Now with Brooks and Big Sean out of the picture, Sykes might just be able to restart their romance.
Grande and Big Sean broke up after eight months of dating. They stated that busy schedules got in the way of their relationship. Rumors, however, claimed that Grande broke up with Big Sean over a very crude lyric in one of his new songs.
Other rumors stated that Big Sean broke up with Grande because she had too many demands. These rumors added that if Grande had fought for the relationship, the rapper would have gladly stayed in it. However, she allegedly did not care enough to fight.
