Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Relationship Update: Gomez Sticks Up for Him, Are They Reuniting?
Selena Gomez, 22, is coming to Justin Bieber, her famous former boyfriend's defense after he was put in a chokehold at Coachella on Apr. 11.
Selena thought that Bieber didn't deserve to be mistreated because he didn't do anything wrong, a source exclusively told Hollywood Life.
Many believed that the incident was warranted but the "Monte Carlo" actress thought it wasn't needed.
"Selena heard about what happened to Justin at Drake's concert and thought it was unfortunate," the insider said. "She said putting Justin in a chokehold seemed totally unnecessary and that poor choices were made. She doesn't believe Justin was at fault."
The event occurred when Justin Bieber and his entourage walked to the artist's entrance where Drake was performing, when they were stopped by security and told the area was at capacity and they couldn't come in.
Bieber and his crew showed security they had the proper wristbands to gain entry.
"Sources close to Bieber say he voluntarily left, and they're considering taking legal action against the security guards," said TMZ.
Sources said Selena Gomez has already reached out to him to "make sure that he is okay."
"Selena has made it very clear that she wants Justin back, and as soon as she heard what happened she contacted him. Selena knows how Justin operates, and exactly what to say to make him feel better and weasel her way back in to his life. Justin needs someone to baby him right now, and Selena is making sure she is that girl."
