Emma Watson has found her prince charming.

Sources are reporting that British actor Dan Stevens will play Beast in the live-action Disney movie, "Beauty and the Beast." Watson, 24, who was casted to play Belle in January, tweeted her support.

Stevens, 32, is most widely known for his role as Matthew Crawley in the British TV drama series, Downton Abbey.

Watson also congratulated actor Luke Evans, who has been confirmed for the role of egocentric Gaston.

The Welsh actor is known for his roles in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" and "Dracula Untold."

The movie will be directed by Bill Condon. David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are producing. Disney has not revealed whether or not the movie will include singing. Condon did say in October that the movie would be a musical. Watson also stated that she will need to get some "singing lessons."

The actress, known for her role as Hermione in the "Harry Potter" movies, posted on Facebook, "I'm finally able to tell you... that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'. My six year old self is on the ceiling - heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it."

"Beauty and the Beast" is a French fairy tale that follows a young woman's life after she agrees to become the Beast's prisoner in place of her father. Belle starts to fall in love with the Beast and she soon learns that he is actually a prince who has been cursed. In order to break the curse, the Beast must find true love.

Disney has recently produced live-action adaptations of popular Disney movies. "Cinderella," starring Lily James, Richard Madden and Cate Blanchett, comes out in theaters on March 13. The movie is already generating great reviews.

Disney released "Into the Woods," a live adaptation that combined classic fairy tales, was released last year. "Maleficent," a live adaptation of "Sleeping Beauty," starring Angelina Jolie was also released last year. That movie made more than $500 million worldwide.

"Beauty and the Beast" is scheduled to be released in 2016.
