‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Can Michael Win Avery's Custody?
The last episode of ABC soap General Hospital revealed that next few episodes would revolve around Avery's court custody.
According to Celebdirtylaundry, Judge Walters who took over the case on Thursday would most likely land custody to Michael given their connections. Walters is dating Monica Quatermaine, Michael's grandmother. While Sonny not just stands to lose custody battle, Walters may even threaten him with jail besides denying visiting his daughter. The court drama is expected to unfold in complete ignorance of Ava's existence.
Ava, the baby's mother who is bidding her time to make away with her baby, will strive to keep her survival a secret. Ava's mother Delia Ryan who met Ava at the memorials will cover up for her daughter. It remains to be seen how the custody battle will shape after baby Avery goes missing.
Coming episodes are also expected to bring some developments on Luke storyline with Franco and Nina beginning to scheme after a lull. Nathan is also likely to see Maxie and Damein together which would greatly discomfort him.
Other reports speculating about the direction the court custody battle for Avery would take, suggested that Michael would win with assistance from Carly Corinthos portrayed by actress Laura Wright.
"Carly can't stand Ric, so that's in the mix, it's all over the place. If anyone thinks that Michael could get custody, it's Carly, because she tried to do the same thing; she tried to protect her kids from Sonny. That all comes up in the court," Wright said in an interview, according to VC Post.
