Clash of Clans Latest Update: Major Changes for Smart Phone Game

The popular online game Clash of Clans has received a major update that allows for deeper and longer engagement with game.

TouchArcade reports that the update primarily affects those who have already reached the higher tiers of the game.

The most consequential update is a change that allows a player to level up their entire clan, rather than the individual, specialized classes like barbarians and wizards that make up the clan.

Among other things, clan upgrades will allow players to deploy more troops and gain more loot from their invasions of enemy territory.

The new update also allows for a new level of personalization for each clan. Although players could name their clans, customization for the game has been rather limited. This new patch provides an emblem editor that allows clans to create their own unique and customizable logo.
