Moto Z Droid Edition shows its renders in the Leaked Press

It's already been revealed that this year Motorola will unveil a successor each for the Moto X Style and Moto X Play from 2015, yet this time around they will bear Moto Z branding. While the Moto Z Style and Moto Z Play will be available internationally (and possibly unlocked in the US), let's not forget about the company's ongoing partnership with Verizon for Droid-branded handsets.

Samsung’s next phablet to be called ‘Note 7’?

A new report out of Samsung's native South Korea now claims that the company's next flagship phablet will not be called Galaxy Note 6, as everyone expected. Instead, Samsung will allegedly go with Galaxy Note 7, skipping the number 6 entirely. This is rather unusual but however seems like there are some possible reasons regarding the successive number being skipped which they have mentioned about it below in the Samsung camp.

Samsung has built an oversized replica of the Galaxy S7 to hang outside Sheremetyevo International Airport, in the latest marketing push for its new device.The billboard from top to bottom stands 80 metres tall paired and 40 metres wide, enabling it to be seen from more than two kilometres away.

HTC 10 arrives for Indian markets for $790

As scheduled, HTC has officially announced its newest flagship smartphone, the 10, in India. The device carries a price tag of INR 52,990, which translates into around $790.While HTC has already cleared the air on this, it's still worth mentioning that the it's the same global variant - which is powered by Snapdragon 820 and has 4GB of RAM - that has been launched in India.

Samsung Galaxy Android ‘N’ Update!

The Android N release is getting closer though Samsung Galaxy owners might have to wait awhile for the company to roll out its version of Google’s upcoming operating system.Earlier this year, Google confirmed the next version of Android. Android N is currently in beta ahead of a public release that’s expected to take place, for Nexus phones and tablets, sometime this summer.Android N doesn’t have an official name yet, Google is asking the public to help name it, but it does have a nice list of confirmed features.While some companies (like HTC) have announced plans to bring Android N and its impressive set of features to market, companies like Samsung remain silent.

Google builds its first chip just for Machine Learning

Last week’s Google IO conference generated a lot of interesting news. One of the more intriguing items was the revelation that Google is building its own chip for machine learning (ML). The Google chip is designed to work with Google TensorFlow language and is called the Google Tensor Processing Unit TPU).
