Indian startup Smartron has launched its first smartphone in the country, the t.phone. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 22,999, and will go on sale in early June via Gadgets 360 and the Smartront.store, with registrations already open. The company had launched its laptop-tablet hybrid, the Smartront.book (Review) in March.
In this test, we pitted five phones against each other. The iPhone SE’s camera is up there with the iPhone 6S. For Android, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was flying the flag for the South Korean firm, while the Xperia Z5 Premium is still the best of the bunch for Sony – the X series has yet to be released here.
Sony says we're done with Z-tagging their flagships and they'll switch alphabets. So now, the X-series of their phones will be their flagships for at least this year. But their Z5 phone was really pretty good even though priced according to their competitors' listing, a lot of units were marketed according to a source. But this February, the Japanese firm decided to bid goodbye to their "Z" series phones along with the new announcements being the "X" series.
