Sony says we're done with Z-tagging their flagships and they'll switch alphabets. So now, the X-series of their phones will be their flagships for at least this year. But their Z5 phone was really pretty good even though priced according to their competitors' listing, a lot of units were marketed according to a source. But this February, the Japanese firm decided to bid goodbye to their "Z" series phones along with the new announcements being the "X" series.

However, the new phone supposed to be the flagship for this year will succeed the previous year's flagship phone Z5. The only phone at the moment it launched supported 4k content along with display. This year's flagship will also be a bit different in terms of screen. This phone as mentioned above will come out with a HDR display, something that would be a first timer for the smartphone world. This would make sure that it will be capable of producing more colors than the standard 16.8billion colors.

But wait, that's not it. The phone will also feature 120hz of refresh rate which are standard for professional gamers like me. Those are supposed be in professional grade monitors Sony and not mobiles! But hey it's Sony, probably trying out and experimenting new things. According to a report, the phone will also sport the brightest display panel ever put into a phone with a 2000:1 contrast ratio. This phone will also come with a now industry standard Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm in recent flagships with 3GB ram. This will also support a USB Type-C connector but in spite of all these nothing can be come to a call unless Sony themselves confirm it. On the outer looks, the phone looks pretty nice but still comes out in a standard Sony mold that we've been seeing in all of the "Z" series phones. However, there will be an external camera shutter button as per the camera leaks.
