Microsoft’s calendar and organizer app, Sunrise, will be shutting down on August 31 despite its growing popularity among calendar-conscious users. The plan comes at a time when the software giant wants to integrate all of its calendar-related apps and services under its Outlook app.

Microsoft is launching Outlook for iOS and Android phones and tablets. It had acquired an email startup Acompli last year. The new Outlook app, which almost looks identical to Acompli, is available for free in the respective stores.
