For the first time in NBA history, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has just been conferred his second MVP title for the 2015-16 season by winning unanimous votes from a panel of judges composed mainly of sports journalists. Although only mildly surprising, Curry has several NBA records to speak of this season such as breaking his own three-point record with a 116-point margin and the historic 73 regular season wins.
San Antonio forward Kawhi Leonard is recently honored as Kia Defensive Player of the Year Award- a major contributing force to Spurs’ excellent defense portfolio (arguably the best in today’s NBA). Despite his recent accomplishments, the team-oriented player usually credits his teammates for his achievements.
