Threats from Al Shabaab and Al Qaeda: Massachusetts on alert

After receiving threats to attack malls at Canada, Great Britain, from terrorist organizations like Al Shabaab and Al Qaeda, the Massachusetts police has decided to make their presence in every local shopping malls, and every other public place. Thought the police state that there is no credible evidence to prove the legitimacy of the threat, it has decided to take advance security precautionary steps to ensure the stability in the society. The same terrorist organization was responsible to carry out the attack that took place at Nairobi shopping mall during 2013.

The police have also declared that the training given to the officers is very different and it strives to ensure security and high level of policing by hiking its presence in the public. Though the police lack a specific threat plot, it has decided to take advance precautions, as these small terrorist groups try paralysing the citizens and the economy without short notice.

However, the police urge the citizens to carry out normally, and inform the police if they find or come across any suspicions activities in their vicinity.
