'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Update: Jamie Dornan WILL Return as Christian Grey Despite Wife Being Uncomfortable with his Sex Scenes
"Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide," the statement from London's PublicEye firm read. "And whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film," according to the USA Today.
Dornan's British PR team sent out the clear statement Wednesday, which should end speculation that Dornan was seeking a way out of further bondage-filled movies.
The Australian magazine NW had reported that Dornan had pulled out of plans to appear in the sequels because his wife Amelia Warner felt uncomfortable with the raunchy sex scenes he had to film, but the actor's representative has now dismissed the story, telling Dailymail.co.uk, "All press reports are pure conjecture as the studio has not committed to a sequel as yet."
Dornan had hinted at his wife's unease with the film at its U.K. premiere, saying his wife hadn't seen the film, adding, "And I don't think she will, to be honest."
The movie has been a hit, grossing more than $400 million at the box office worldwide.
