Microsoft is offering $100 off on Surface Pro 3 laptop/tablet hybrid and the entry level device can be bought at just $699.

In earlier promotion, the entry level model was not included and the least expensive model after $100 discount was available for $899. However now the least expensive Surface Pro 3 is available for $699.

The offer has been extended until February 28 (earlier it was only through Feb 7).

Other model discounts remain the same, including the $1,299 model (now $1,199), and the $1,549 model (now $1,449). Models use a Core i3 ($699 model), Core i5, or Core i7 processors and come with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage.

Surface Pro 3, according to Microsoft, can replace your laptop.

It features a 4th generation Intel Core i3-4020Y 1.50 GHz with Intel HD Graphics 4200 and a battery life up to 9 hours of web browsing.

Surface Pro 3 also runs many of the most popular PC games, including the League of Legends and The Elder Scrolls Online. It can be connected to an Xbox 360 wireless controller for Windows.

However, the Surface Pro 3 tablets face stiff competition within the Microsoft Store. For instance, an Asus Transformer Book Flip TP300LA is priced at $599 (was $799) and Dell's new XPS 13 starts at $899.
