Everything About Virgin Mobile First No-Contract Data Sharing Plan

For the first time Virgin Mobile will let you share no-contract data with your friends and family. The new plan are available starting today (Jan 17) from Walmart.

The starter plan is available at $65 per month for two line and 4GB data. For three lines and 8GB of data you will be charged $90 per month while for 12GB of data split between four lines you will be charge $115.

Virgin also upgraded solo plans by including two new tiers of service $35 for 300 minutes of talk and $45 for unlimited talk. Both of these plans feature unlimited texting and unlimited data (high speed till 2.5GB).

However, with all these alluring plans, comes attached caveat. The Unlimited and Data Share plan will be available on four phones he $100 HTC Desire 510, the $80 LG Tribute, the $150 LG Volt and the $130 Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. Each activation will also require a $20 starter kit.

All multi-plan will come with a free mobile hotspot app, making it easier to share mobile data with a tablet or laptop.

Reportedly, Virgin will include more phones supporting the plans next month.

Virgin Mobile is just one of Sprint's prepaid brands and it has slowest data speed among the largest four carriers.
