Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie Update: "Cake" Star Says Rivalry is Over
Jennifer Aniston openly expressed her appreciation towards Angelina Jolie's self-directed movie, Unbroken when the two met at the same event, the 20th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards on Thursday this week. And according to Mirror, this marks the end of the years-long rivalry between the two.
In an interview, the Friends actress said that she liked the World War II movie that dramatizes the real-life former Olympian and prisoner of war Louis Zamperini.
"I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful, and she did such a gorgeous job," the 45-year old auburn blonde actress directs her comment to the Tomb Raider star.
Further, Brad Pitt's ex-wife said that she is way over the B.S between her and the 39-year old brunette beauty.
"I think it's time people stop with that petty B.S. and start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness.... It's just tiresome and old. It's like an old leather shoe," she said.
Reports from ET remembers the feud between Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie six years ago when the 39-year old actress started then-illicit relationship with Brad Pitt in the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
ET quotes what Jolie said during the interview about her decision to pursue her relationship with Brad Pitt who is married to Aniston that time.
"It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe. And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration," the Maleficent actress said.
Jennifer Aniston, on the other hand, has long since moved on and has been engaged for two years now with hottie Justin Theroux.
Meanwhile, Aniston's recent nomination for Best Actress for the movie cake has been snubbed by movie critics, Entertainment Weekly said. Jessica Chastain is also out from the list but still expressed gratitude from her fans on Twitter.
The 45-year old Jennifer Aniston also bounced back from this mishap, saying that she is still excited is giving her support for nominees Julianne Moore and Reese Witherspoon
