'Inhumans' News & Update: 'Game Of Thrones' Iwan Rheon Portrays Maximus In The New Marvel Series; Special Run Set To Begin September
Marvel's "Inhumans" has cast a "Game of Thrones" star. Iwan Rheon will portray the role of Maximus in the latest TV series. "Inhumans" was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965. The story follows a group of superhumans and each member has their own superpowers. This new series on "Inhumans" will explore more on the story of Black Bolt and the royal family.
According to a report, Maximus' character is described to be a strong and loyal inhuman in the latest TV series. He is devoted to the King who happens to be his brother in the series "Inhumans." However, underneath his devotion is a desire to be a king someday.
In the meantime, Rheon has been cast to portray Maximus in "Inhumans." He already did the role of Ramsay Bolton in HBO's "Game of Thrones." Marvel's TV head Jeph Loeb shared that the ability of Rheon to bring in charm into the character is what has made the team confident of him.
This latest series is a follow-up mark for Rheon in a show after "Game of Thrones." Aside from GOT, Rheon also was part of Vicious and Misfits. He will be the superhuman Maximus in the upcoming Marvel TV series "Inhumans."
Meanwhile, "Inhumans" will be delivered differently later this year. Marvel Studios had a special deal with IMAX. The first two episodes of the series will be viewed through IMAX. This is going to be a two-week run before it will premiere on ABC network.
This special run for "Inhumans" will begin in September this year. It will be a different kind of world for Rheon compared to GOT. Fans can expect more powers to be unleashed once the series premieres. There is no specific air date for the series as of yet.
