Several proposed rules on the regulation of "medical marijuana" have been released in Florida. It is also reported that there are certain fees applied once one applies to grow.

According to a report, these proposed new rules in regulating "medical marijuana" may limit that range to what illness can be treated. This also is not the same with the Amendment 2 that has been approved in November last year and which has just taken effect this month.

The new proposed rules for "medical marijuana" will maintain the recent cap for marijuana vendors. The vendors are limited to seven dispensaries and these will treat 500,000 patients. These patients are supposed to be eligible for the rules under Amendment 2.

In a different report, the Pennsylvania Department of Health released the application for "medical marijuana" growers and dispensaries. According to the same report, interested applicants can download the form on the DOH website. The application on the website can be available between Feb. 20 and March 20.

The application also requires certain fees. The growers of medical marijuana will have a fine of $10,000 application fee and is non-refundable. There is also a $200,000 permit fee and this fee is refundable if in the case that the permit is not approved. The growers will also need to show a $2 million as capital.

For those applying also for dispensaries, they will have to pay a non-refundable application fee worth $5000. The permit fee is worth $30,000 which is also refundable if the permit is not granted. The capital that needs to be shown once applying is worth $150,000.

Meanwhile, there are also some who believe that marijuana is more harmful than other drugs. Scientifically, however, it is believed to be a medicine and can heal certain illnesses. There has got to be more studies that need to be done in order to prove that medical marijuana can be harmful.
