Mozilla has released the Firefox 35 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. The highlighted features of the new update are: room-based Firefox Hello conversations, MP4 playback on Mac and integration with the Android download manager.

Among other touted features, one is simplifying the call process, eliminating the intermediate steps. Users of Firefox can make free voice and video calls without needing to download additional software or plugins, or create an account. To make a call, simply click on the "Start a conversation" button.

Each conversation window has its own unique URL, allowing you to provide more concise context. You can also name the ongoing conversations. Simultaneously, browsing is also possible.

Firefox 35 can now also share mobile device Wi-Fi and cellular signals for improved geolocation services.

Mozilla has also implemented HTTP Public Key Pinning Extensions that would enhance the authentication of encrypted connection.

Among HTM5 features, the browser extends support for the CSS front-loading API, resource timing API and default enabling of CSS filters.

The new version of Firefox is available for download on firefox.com. The updates for Android users are being pushed slowly via Google Play.

The next version of the browser Firefox 36.0 is slated to release on February 24.
