‘Pokémon GO’ Holiday Event Update Is Coming, Two Events Are Confirmed, Know More Details
The developer of "Pokémon GO", Niantic came with holiday event update which includes 2 updates that are spanning for 10 days each. The first update event is starting from Dec. 25 and it will be available until Jan. 3, whereas the second event is from Dec. 30 and it ends on Jan. 8. Both the events are adding more features to the game during the period.
During the first event period of Pokémon GO, the gamers will have options to get one incubator per day from PokeStops which are for one-time hatching. The developer says that during the period, gamers can visit PokeStops and have increased chances to get eggs of Pichu, Togepi, and other recently introduced Pokemon, that were found in Johto region. Also, the previously introduced Santa cap wearing Pikachu will continue even after 29th and users would often find this special limited-edition Pikachu during the event.
The second update of Pokémon GO which is starting from Dec. 30 would see more first-partner Pokemon including Charmadner, Charmeleon, Wartortle, Squirtle etc. and its evolution in the game. Just to help the gamers to spend more time in catching Pokemon the developer has raised the Lure Modules from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. During the period, the gamers are expected to catch more Pokemon by luring them.
Since launch, the Pokémon GO community has collectively made 200,000 trips around Earth! https://t.co/tsuhCpiMEY pic.twitter.com/27540v72wN

The previous Christmas update on Pokémon GO was not very satisfying the users, but the added things from Dec. 25 is making it a better deal. However, having no Christmas tree, snow lights, Christmas ornaments is a disappointment for some gamers. Also, there were gift boxes found in the data mining and rumors have it that it would appear along with the Christmas update. Or is the developer planning to make a surprise introduction of gift boxes in Pokémon GO on Christmas day?
Niantic is found to be very specific in extending Pokémon GO reach into more platforms and devices. Recently, it is introduced in Apple watches to help the iPhone gamers where the users gaming activity will be calculated to physical activity and are expected to make a positive feel about the functionality. For the time being, it seems to be a good idea, chasing Pokemon and simultaneously completing the physical activity prescribed per day, right?
