“DOTA 2” has prepared something new, something huge for its fans which will shake the basic essence of the game. Fans will have to adjust to a new map, new hud and to learn how to play a new hero. These changes are huge for fans of “DOTA 2” and because of them, a lot of players are reacting negatively. Some people say this patch 7.00 is unbalanced and will possibly destroy the game while others are open to changes and want to see what this patch has for them.

Patch 7.0 brought a new hero as well, called Monkey King, Real Sport 101 reported. His skills will deal heavy physical damage from the early game which a lot of players found him overpowered. Monkey King has crowd control skills, a two seconds stun with his Q, maximum 70% slow with E. Monkey King represents a mid-game carry because of his heavy stuns and slows. This hero deals a lot of damage even in the early game and he earns the stack by auto-attacking the same enemy hero. He has the mobility to initiate and escape which was the main reason players find him overpowered. He can jump from tree to tree with no mana cost and cooldown of just 1.4 sec and can hide in the fog of war as well. His ultimate is to deal physical damage in an area. The best counter for Monkey King is Venomancer who deals damage-per-second slows.

According to Kotaku, after this patch 7.00, if players don’t ban Venomancer, things could and will get very annoying. Venomancer can stack 5 of the neutral champions at level 1, it is not very easy, but skilled players can pull it off.

As Dota 2 Gamepedia reported, Venomancer is one among the strongest champions who can counter the newest hero on “DOTA 2,” Monkey King. Venomancer’s damage-ver-time positions will put Tree Dance on cooldown and diminish Monkey King’s mobility.
