Nokia Is Coming Back This 2017
Nokia phones are about to start connecting people once again. Rumors shows that Nokia is working on another smartphone. The company confirmed that they are making a comeback in smartphone business and will be launching two Android powered smartphones on 2017.
Before the birth of touch screen technology and smartphones, there was Nokia which is known for its user friendly interface and durability. Memes about this phone brand became viral on social media, not because people find hilarious, but it's really true that Nokia is very durable that it won't break even from a twenty-foot drop. Nokia is called as "The Father" of all phones in social media. And it's no wonder why netizens call it "The Father" since Nokia is one of the first high quality mobile phone brands and has made a name for itself in the market since 1998.
Recently, Nokia unveiled two feature phones, The Nokia 150 and 150 Dual SIM. However, these are just feature phones. There have been leaks that the first model will come up with a 5-inch full HD display and 2GB of RAM and will cost around 150 USD. The second model will come up with a 5.5-inch full HD display and 3GB of RAM and will cost 200 to 250 USD.
Nokia C1 is also expected to make a debut next year. The C1 is running on Snapdragon 835 with 4GB or RAM but has a dual 16MP/12MP camera setup with triple-LED flash. The C1 is rumored to pack a 3,210 mAh battery and come in 32, 64 and 128GB options and should be running on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Nokia did not confirmed these specifications but they are not denying this as well. But if these are true, we will see those phones on MWC 2017 this February. Fans are excited and they're already expecting two new Android phones that will have the same durability with their first units, but only Nokia can tell whether these leaks are correct.
Nokia was the largest phone company on the planet for more than a decade. But it slid into obscurity after they lost to Samsung, Apple, Blackberry and other phone brands. Last 2014, Microsoft bought what was left of Nokia. It still sells smart phones under its own Lumia brand and focuses now on selling telecom network equipment.
