'The Winds of Winter' Release Date, News & Update: Sixth 'ASOIAF' Book Ready For Publishing; GRRM Already Working On Another Book?
"The Winds of Winter" is the most anticipated book today. George RR Martin has been teasing about the book lately and reports have it that the sixth "A Song of Ice and Fire" book is already done and is ready for publishing. In fact, GRRM is already working on another book.
It has been over five years since George RR Martin released the fifth "ASOIAF" book, "A Dane With Dragons." For five years and counting, fans have been anticipating for the next book and reports are rife that it is already in the publishing book
"The Winds of Winter" will be dark and many characters are in grave danger, Martin told Entertainment Weekly. He added that the book will not be a "happy feel-good" one.
Due to GRRM's teasing fans take it as a hint that it's already done. Ecumenical News reported that "The Winds of Winter" is up for publishing. "ASOIAF" fans might see it in the bookshelves in just a couple of months.
News Everyday previously reported that the "Game of Thrones" author announced that he will be limiting his public appearances in 2017. His priority will be "TWOW" as it has been long overdue. However, in his recent blog post, George RR Martin announced that long-awaited graphic novel "The Mystery Knight," the third book of his "Dunk and Egg" book series is along the way. The celebrity author announced that the book will be released in hardcover on July 4. It will include 148 graphic pages, which GRRM finds "gorgeous."
Since Martin is already concentrating on his "Dunk and Egg" novella, the "ASOIAF" fans speculate that indeed "TWOW" is already done and is already in the publishing house. Everyone knows, including GRRM, that he has to deliver "The Winds of Winter" to its loyal readers who have been waiting for it for years. It will not be fair if he will just let them wait while he works on another book.
