It is a one sweet ender to retirement for Urijah Faber as he we defeated Brad Pickett after a unanimous decision victory at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. Although he never had the UFC gold, this is one of most jam packed UFC events.

Fighting his best friend Pickett at his hometown, Faber had the best farewell of his 14-year mixed martial arts career after the three judges declared a 30-26 fight in favor him. The crowd roared high when Faber was just shown on the giant video boards when he is about to enter the cage. The roaring did not stop until he was declared as the winner of the fight.

He nearly finished Pickett in three minutes of the fight, cornering him with a hard, immense left hook that caused him to drop on the floor. Faber opened a cut about Pickett's eye and successfully landed heavy shots on him that almost ended the fight. The series of chokes also almost sent Pickett to the end.

He even said before this fight that he was no longer having the emotional bag that he once had.

After the referee raised his arm as the winner, he declared his love for Sacramento as it did not leave him through ups and downs of his career. His hometown is also the witness for his final bow for the mixed martial arts competition.

He ends his career with a 34-10 record, 10-6 record in UFC, and the WEC featherweight title. Even if there has more to achieve, he is not in doubt of his decisionAs he described it, he felt amazing as it is equivalent of getting a doctorate degree in life. He also thanked his buddy Pickett for being a "great warrior."
