Ever since its reboot on Netflix, fans of Full House are still anticipating that the beloved twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would make an appearance, if not to reprise their roles in Fuller House. Unfortunately, they have expressed that they have no interest in doing their roles again.

But with the huge drop in the ratings of the second season, are they finally going back and reprise their role as Michelle Tanner to gain back their fans?

Lori Loughlin, who plays Becky Katsopolis, said that there have been no negotiations with the Olsen twins ever since the start of the Fuller House season two's production. Still, she said that the twins would still be welcome if they have decided to come back for the sitcom.

Fuller House executive producer Bob Boyett said that the Olsens can't be part of the first season because the shooting schedule conflicts with their commitment on their fashion labels The Row and Elizabeth and James. He added that Ashley has not been in front of the camera since she was 17 and Mary-Kate would be willing to reprise but timing is not good for them.

In the series, their character Michelle was just written as the hardworking member of the family, who si grueling with her busy schedule on establishing her fashion empire.

Fans of the reboot would notice how the cast has been playing with the absence of the twins with some subtle shots. DJ even broke the fourth wall and said that he hopes Michelle would be with them in the next season of Fuller House. Uncle Jesse even looked directly at the camera and said that it would be fun.

Last March, E! even question Elizabeth Olsen if she would play her sisters' role. The younger Olsen denied the claims, saying that there has been no word about it on her team.

With the uncertainty of Fuller House season three due to the poor reception both from critics and ratings, fans are still wondering the plan of the series of returning to its former glory. Some of them still think that Michelle Tanner is the key.
