In its bid to take a pie of the global smartphone market, HMD Global Oy, a company headquartered in Finland, has recently announced the launch of the Nokia 150 and the Nokia 150 Dual Sim smartphones. This brand was one the first companies to introduce affordable mobile phones in the world market. Perhaps in launching these two models, it hopes to make a successful comeback in the market that it had once dominated.

These Mobile Phones Have Outstanding Battery Life

A press release from the company stated the two phones have remarkable battery life to ensure that users' connectivity will be longer. These models have talk time that can last for a maximum of 22 hours. Their stand-by mode enables the devices to stay alive for as long as 25 days for the Dual Sim model and 31 days for the single SIM variant.

Their Features Reflect The Quality Nokia Is Known For

Both the Nokia 150 and the Nokia 150 Dual Sim are equipped with LED torchlights, and a micro-USB charger is used for charging the batteries. The functional features of both the Nokia 150 and the Nokia 150 Dual Sim are identical to each other. They also come with Bluetooth, MP3 player, VGA camera with LED flash and Nokia's SLAM sharing technology.

The new models will also have the trademark game of Nokia, the Snake Xenzia. Both the Nokia 150 and the Nokia 150 Dual Sim will have a 2.4-inch QVGA display screen. Their operating system is the Nokia Series 30+ OS. These units still adopt the quality build that Nokia is known for. They are also very affordable with a price that starts at only $26 apiece.

The Nokia Brand Has A New Owner

With this launch of the Nokia 150 and the Nokia 150 Dual Sim, the company is looking to recover its standing in the smartphone industry. These are just two of the devices that come under the management of HMD Global. This Finnish company is the new owner of the Nokia brand and it holds its license for the following 10 years. These units will be sold in the first quarter of 2017.
