‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Here’s How Rick Can Win The War Against Negan & The Saviors

The first half of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 left Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group plotting revenge and war against Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors. The question is, do they stand a chance? What can Rick's group do to ensure victory in the impending rebellion?

A promo for the next episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 showed a tool that can help pave Rick's path towards victory, and it's a radio procured by Jesus (Tom Payne). While Rick's group was talking amongst themselves about how to defeat Negan best, Jesus revealed that he stole a radio from the Sanctuary and pointed out that they can use it to keep track of the Saviors' plans and movements, Cinema Blend reported.

Rick was right when he said that they aren't enough in numbers to take down the Saviors, but Jesus insisted that victory is still possible if they team up with the three enclaves under Negan's rule. A solid partnership between Alexandria, the Hilltop, and the Kingdom is more than enough to defeat Negan's force in the second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

Viewers know that Negan has been keeping the exact location of the Sanctuary a secret to ensure safety. But that has changed recently given that Jesus, Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carl (Chandler Riggs), and Michonne (Danai Gurira) all know his hideout now.

Aside from the stolen radio, Rick's group also has another advantage -- Daryl. The latter just escaped the Sanctuary and he can now commit fully -- inside knowledge and all -- to an all-out rebellion between Alexandria, the Hilltop, and the Kingdom against Negan.

Daryl's reunion with Rick in front of the survivors was touching and emotional. They hugged each other while crying and Daryl passed a gun to Rick, which, in some way, was sort of a symbolic action between the two men.

Lincoln recently told The Wrap that "The Walking Dead" viewers only "saw the tip of the iceberg" in that scene. The actor said that the crew "couldn't pry" him and Reedus apart even after yelling "cut," adding that they "wept on each other's shoulders for about three hours."

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 returns for episode nine on Sunday, February 12 on AMC at 9 PM EST. What do you think of the impending war between the three enclaves and the Saviors? Does Rick's group stand a chance? Sound off in the comments section below!
