'Destiny' New Holiday Updates Finally Revealed As 'The Dawning;' Minor Changes But Fun

"Destiny" is now one of the most famous video games today, wherein the players are traveling through the galaxy in search of "Destiny 2." Just recently, the game has launched a new event that can still be categorized by the players as fun.

New Event For "Destiny" Available; To Feature 3 Main Subsequent Events During The Entire Duration

The new event that was launched by "Destiny" is called "The Dawning," to which holds three main features. One of which is the return of "Sparrow Racing League," a feature that many of the gamers are sure to be familiar about. There are new tracks and even bounties attached to the SRL to add to the fun as compared from its original version. The second main feature is the strike scoring which by playing through night falls and strike playlists, the gamer can earn medals and rack up points as well. The third main feature is a new record book, available for free, that allows the players to collect achievements that can be used to unlock various pieces of loot.

Some Purchases To Be Available Only During "The Dawning" But Will Be Available Permanently Once Purchased

"The Dawning" will only be available for players who have purchased the new expansion of "Destiny," known as "Destiny: Rise of Iron." This new event also offers multiple quests from Commander Zavala and Eva Levante, in which Zavala's bounties can be tied in with the strike scoring system that the players a chance to receive the Year 3 version of Ice Breaker, which is an exotic sniper rifle. To further explain, strike scoring is the concept wherein the game will now score the players' strikes that will allow them awards and medals for several of the features.

During "The Dawning," a tasty sparrow known as Lysander's Cry will be available but only during the duration of the event. However, once purchased, it will already be in the gamer's profile permanently. The said event has brought more information regarding the "Destiny: Rise of Iron" and it is set to be a good help for the duration of the entire game.
