Final Fantasy XV' Guide To A Productive Road Trip: Fishing, Camping, And Taking Photos
Square Enix recently released “Final Fantasy XV” late last month after delaying it for a month, if the ten years does not count. The new role-playing game featured a lot of various things to do and explore in the game. Just like any other “Final Fantasy” video game, it stays true to its signature immersive world of nonstop adventures.
One of the new things Square Enix introduced in “Final Fantasy XV” is the use of the car named Regalia. Though a car scene was no stranger in the series, such as the one in “Final Fantasy VII”, this time players can actually control the car and go off to any corner of the open world. With the car, a road trip with Noctis and his party of four is inevitable.
“Final Fantasy XV” brings players to the perfect road trip with friends who are in the journey to find astral and out to save the world. Players can go to stops, visit dungeons, help stranded strangers, cook food at camps, go fishing, take photos, and even listen to music while on the stroll. These activities may sound ordinary but they help Noctis and his party level up and gain other useful things.
Noctis and his party can go and set camp at designated camping areas. These areas can easily be pinpointed with smoke coming out of the ground and they are always surrounded by elemental magic regenerating stones. When camping, Noctis can rest to clean up and level up with the experience points they accumulated. He and the other characters can also train at camps to obtain additional ability points. The camp is the only venue where Ignis can cook and level up his cooking skill as well as give various status boosts to the party.
Noctis, for a main playable character, takes hobby in fishing. There are various fishing spots scattered around the open world and it provides different kinds of fish. Noctis and his party can gain ability points for every fish he catches as long as the said ability is unlocked through ascension.
Noctis can also play music while driving and even when taking a stroll. Make sure to buy every “Final Fantasy” soundtrack CD available at every shop in different stops and cities. The songs take players back to a road of reminiscing the great “Final Fantasy” games during long drives or lengthy chocobo drives. Ability points can also be obtained during long car rides and chocobo trips so long as the ability for it is also unlocked through ascension.
