NBA Trade Rumors: Pelicans' Anthony Davis Moving To OKC Thunder To Play With Russell Westbrook; Trade Happening Before The Deadline!

Anthony Davis of New Orleans Pelicans is rumored to be wearing a new uniform after the trade deadline. Reports are rife that the "Unibrow" will be joining Kevin Durant's previous team, Oklahoma City Thunder.

For those following the development of the NBA trade this season, more and more players are becoming regular in the NBA trade rumor mills. Just recently, Anthony Davis is also on the list and has been linked to a number of teams already. In fact, there are rumors that Davis will be joining the contender teams Golden State Warriors or Cleveland Cavaliers.

ESPN previously reported about a rumored trade involving Anthony Davis and Kevin Love. Per the report, the "Unibrow" will be joining forces with LeBron James in Cleveland Cavaliers this season. Meanwhile, Love will be replacing him in Pelicans.

On a side note, there are also rumors that a potential GSW and Pelican trade is in the works. In this arrangement, Warriors will trade their All-Star player Draymond Green for Anthony Davis, Centrio Times reported. The report notes that his current team is already tired of his off-court misbehavior.

In the last NBA season, Green was suspended for misbehavior in one of the final games between Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. In fact, some believe that his suspension crippled the team and gave Cavs an easier win. That is why GSW is sending him to have Anthony Davis instead.

However, the latest NBA buzz suggests that Green is not joining either of the contender teams as he is heading to OKC Thunder to play alongside Russell Westbrook. Per  Chatt Sports Net, the trade involving Anthony Davis' move to Thunder is happening before the trade deadline this February. However, trading for "Unibrow" will not be easy given his high trade market value.

The report notes that Pelicans turn down Thunder's trade proposal involving Enes Kanter and Anthony Morrow. However, OKC Thunder is not giving up and will be sending another offer. It is clear that the team want to find a reliable running mate for Westbrook after Durant left to join GSW.
