Facebook has been making its efforts in eradicating anything fake and hoaxes in the social media platform but it seems like another problem has come. Facebook users have been complaining about the social media platform reposting old photos without authorization.

According to FOX 31, Facebook has already explained that they are aware about the said issue which started on Friday, and are already investigating on it. The issue has got Facebook users wondering it what happened was just a system issue or if their accounts were hacked.

A lot of Facebook users has been posting and complaining on the social media platform stating that their old photos and posts has been reposted on their accounts and said that they did not do it themselves.

Reports also stated that other Facebook users have decided to deactivate their accounts, thinking that their accounts have been hacked. Other users, as reported by The Sun, said that the issue started when they updated the application to 74.0 versions on iOS devices, and were asking whether this is the reason for the issue. In line with this, some of the Facebook users who have decided to deactivate their account said that they will keep it that way until they are sure that it is safe.

Meanwhile, Mirror has reported that since the issue happened just a few days after Facebook introduced its "Year in review" feature, which dedicates a video to every Facebook user which shows throwback posts and photos in 2016. Some users then think that the feature might have caused their old photos and posts being shared on their timeline without their permission.

Facebook has already stated that they are aware about the glitch and are currently making an investigation, but has not made any explanation or views on what might have caused the glitch to happen.
